Renee Phillips, a lifelong dreamer, is now a seasoned horse trainer and Certified Level Three Riding Instructor. From the vibrant horse community of Nelson, B.C., where she began riding at nine, Renee has evolved, specializing in Halter, Western, English, and reining disciplines.

Her journey includes collaboration with renowned trainers like Wayne Latimer and Craig Schmersal, shaping her program with invaluable knowledge. From Alberta to California and Texas, Renee honed her skills, working with top trainers like Tom McCutcheon Reining.

Joining Valhalla Andalusians in 2013, Renee earned numerous Nationals titles, including Supreme Champion in Halter. Collaborating with Marion Weisskopff, a recognized Canadian trainer and Master Instructor for CHA, added depth to Renee’s expertise.

In 2015, her equine partners excelled at the WDAA show, securing multiple Reserve world Titles. Excitingly, Saddle Seat and Driving were added in 2018, expanding the team’s offerings.

Throughout 2019, Renee embraced more training opportunities, representing horses from both Canada and the United States in competitions across North America.

Currently based in Nelson, B.C., Renee continues her passion for coaching, training, and ongoing education, inviting others to share in the joy of horses.
